If I had to describe myself with one phrase, it would be I have a passion for public service. And I'm ready to dedicate my strong work ethic to serving Calcasieu Parish and District 8.
ABOUT ME
Putting My Values to Work
A great mentor once told me "anything worth doing is worth doing right." I've done my best to follow that advice throughout my life. It's why I've decided to run for Calcasieu Parish Police Jury now. I've retired from working full-time, and this will BE my job. I can truly do it "right." And I promise to remain true to my values.
1. Give only 100% (or more). Whatever I dedicate myself to, I give my all. I won't do anything halfway or commit to something I can't see through.
2. Live and work ethically. I've spent most of my career in public service of some sort. From my time at McNeese to a prior appointment with the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury to my status as the longest-serving current member of the Lake Charles Regional Airport Authority, I'm proud of my spotless ethics record.
3. Be trustworthy. You won't see me say one thing and do another. My word is my promise. What you see in an email, at a public meeting or in a text message will be consistent.
4. Communicate. Constituents deserve to have access to their elected officials. If elected, I'll strive to communicate as consistently as I do in my campaign.
