Louisianans love the outdoors! And CPPJ makes it fun with a variety of services at parks across the parish. Whether you’re taking a boat out for the day, playing in the splash pads, exercising, hosting an event, camping or taking a stroll, CPPJ has you covered with 11 community parks and 10 parish boat launches throughout our parish.

Each park is unique. There are 56 camper spaces and numerous tent sites throughout five different parks. Pavilions are available to rent for any occasion. CPPJ also sponsors free events at the parks, such as Movies Under the Stars, which occurs annually each spring.

With 18 full-time and 35 seasonal employees, mosquito control encompasses all of the major components of a comprehensive control program, including: mosquito surveillance, disease surveillance, larviciding, adulticiding, source reduction and public education.
