Who can vote in CPPJ District 8?

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury includes 15 representatives, with districts split based on population numbers. I'm proud to live in District 8, and I look forward to representing you beginning in 2024! Where is District 8? District 8 is bordered (roughly) by the lake to the west; Cameron Parish and Gauthier Road to the south; Nelson, Elliott and Lincoln roads to the east; and Sale Road and Prien Lake Park to the north.

This year, there are a few new changes to the district that will go into effect this election cycle. Precinct 372 (south side of Ham Reid between Elliott and Nelson) will no longer be part of District 8. To confirm your district, you can also check your address on the Louisiana Secretary of State's Geaux Vote website. CPPJ District 8 Map

I'm in the district! What now? I'd love your support. If you'd like to have a yard sign, walk neighborhoods, make a financial contribution, host a meet-and-greet or otherwise get involved, fill out this form and I'll be in touch!

Most importantly, though, please go vote! You can vote early from Sept. 30 through Oct. 7 (excluding Sunday, Oct. 1) or on Election Day – Saturday, Oct. 14. If you're unable to get to the polls, click here to review information on Louisiana's absentee voting options.
